Um...*thinks hard* It's a toughie since admittedly, money and happiness *do* influence each other. I don't believe it when people claim to be dirt poor and still happy. I mean, in the real world, everything comes down to financial stability. Without it, there is stress and debts and possibly health problems because of the stress and debts!

In this day and age when everything from the rent to the food sold at grocery stores are on the rise, it's really difficult to be happy without money. Take for example my brother's health problems. He has a severe heart condition. If he didn't have a good job with good health benefits to cover his medical expenses, he cannot be happy. His good job means that he *had* to have money in the first place to graduate from University and land that good job, which now leads to good health insurance. OHIP covers the hospital bill but not the meds bill. So....Pysgone, argh, I don't know how to answer your question. I'm stumped. I give up! Maybe someone else can give you a clear-cut answer. I flunked!

Um, my answer to that would be no, I don't always feel optimistic about my life. Even though I may seem to be this happy-go-lucky AyaAsou at VF, in reality, I have plenty of dark moments. But that's life, right? Without sorrow, how can we cherish joy?

totta99, yes I do and I'm still doing it as I already do this for years now. Actually this is done several times a year by donating money through local church organization to help rescue orphans vietnam and the poor victims of the worst flood.

Since I'm a die-hard fan of VF and I want to make VF a better VF and because all of you reading this thread is already a VF member, my question is pretty simple and don't be shy to speak out your own opinion because whatever you say, I'll fully support you.

Name 3 things you don't like about Vietfiles and you really like VF to improve or change. State clearly the reasons why?

Totta99, sorry to know that your evil girlfriend broke up with you. But since she's evil, then you're certainly better off without her. Women like her make me ashamed to be female My eldest brother's ex-girlfriend broke up with him because of his frail health. While at the time I blamed her for hurting him, I now realize that in the long run, he was better off without her. Love is unconditional. I would never settle for anything less than that.

Mr. TsuJ, great question! You *are* a die hard VF fan! I think there should be a "VF Anonymous" created for us VF addicts! :lol:

My answer:

3 Things I don't like about VF

1) There are too many leechers and not enough seeders

2) There aren't enough members who get involved in the forums. The element that I love most about VF is that there is a tight-knit community happening here, but it would be nice if more members were interactive with one another, and not come to VF just to leech.

3) I wish there were more girls involved in VF. Not that I don't like the VF boys (because I do). I just feel as though there is just Doughtygal, Nguoidep and recently, Diem-Thuy, getting involved in VF. It's rather lonely sometimes not to have a female's perspective on various matters. VF is a tetesterone-driven place to be and because I live with my brothers and my father, I'm used to that. But as always, a female's touch can transform any place and make it better than it is


How to improve VF

1) Banning members who Leech n' Run is a start but maybe the rules should be stricter. It's disheartening to seed when no one will stay to help you out.

2) I don't know how to get members to be more interactive with each other. It's an individual choice. I've told my Vietnamese friends about VF and have told them to pass the word along that VF is a cool place to be. Hopefully, word of mouth through the virtual grapevine will help make VF more popular and interactive.

3) Uh, I don't know how to encourage more girls to join VF. I think that because torrents are usually downloaded by guys, so members of torrent sites are predominantly male. Although that is not the case at other torrent sites such as D-addicts where female members outnumber the male members, this seems to be the case here at VF. So, spread the word about VF to your mothers, sisters, aunts, female cousins, girlfriends, wives and daughters about VF
