Emcee, reporter, and news anchor Leyna Nguyễn from KCAL-TV Los Angeles won two awards at the 60th Annual 2008 Emmy Awards Saturday night September 6, 2008 according to http://cdn.emmys.tv/. The two awards were due to her hosting the “2007 Special Olympics Summer Games” and “Heal the Bay.”

In the past Leyna Nguyễn has won one Emmy Awards and with seven total nominations. She received the two awards just two months after giving birth to her second child. Leyna Nguyễn used to work for KCRA Sacramento and WRDW-TV Augusta, Georgia. Congrats!
